There's no salvation outside the Catholic Church
If a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Protestant, Orthodox Christian, or pagan is ultimately saved, they are saved exclusively through Jesus Christ and through the Catholic Church.
Indeed, the ancient dogma remains absolutely true: "Outside the Church there is no salvation." However, this teaching is often profoundly misunderstood.
It does not mean that every soul who enters heaven was a visible, registered member of the Catholic Church during their earthly life. Rather, it means that all salvific grace comes from Christ, and that grace is mediated to the world through His Mystical Body—which is the Catholic Church. Those who are saved without knowing the Church in this life are nevertheless joined to her invisibly by a sincere response to the grace and truth God has revealed to them.
